Yarmouth Shark Scramble: August 12 - 16, 2009
Wednesday, August 12th - Sunday, August 16th - All Day
The Yarmouth Shark Scramble is a fishing tournament where teams complete to catch the largest total weight of sharks or largest weight of a single shark. The event is used as a fundraiser for local charities, with all catch information reported to the Department of Fisheries and Ocean for scientific research. Several Canadian record holders have been caught during the Yarmouth Shark Scramble.
