Canada Day
Wednesday, July 1st - All Day
Canada Day is the birthday of Canada, and is a national holiday. Canadians in every community gather to celebrate our nation and our communities.
There will be celebrations throughout Yarmouth & Acadian Shores all day. Check back regularly for additional updates on locations and details.
- Historic Waterfront in Yarmouth: A free, fun filled day of family entertainment. Highlights include pancake breakfast, official ceremonies at 12 noon, and live entertainment. 8am – 5pm. Phone (902) 742-8868 for more information. Click here for more info.
- Musee acadien in West Pubnico: Flag raising ceremonies will be held at 11 a.m. At 1:30pm there will be Acadian Music, singsong, cake, and ballons. Phone (902) 762-3380 for more information. Click here for more info.
