Put Yourself on a Spin Cycle
Route 304 twists and turns along Yarmouth Harbour, offering harbour vistas and tidal activity. The Cape Forchu cycle route follows a narrow point of land, as it juts out into the Atlantic Ocean, and culminates at the most westerly point of mainland Nova Scotia: Cape Forchu Light Station. Allow time along the ride to stop for beachcombing and exploring the Yarmouth Bar fishing wharf.
Distance: 20 kilometres
Route: Turn left onto Yarmouth’s Main Street heading north. Turn left onto Hwy. 304 South, Vancouver Street (horse statue at intersection). Follow signs to Cape Forchu.
