Deep Sky Eye Observatory

Have you seen the Milky Way? The Rings of Saturn?  The spiral arms of distant galaxies?  Come and discover the night sky the way it was meant to be seen. Located only 24 minutes from Yarmouth, in North America's first certified Starlight Tourist Destination as designated by the Starlight Foundation the Deep Sky Eye Observatory has both a outdoor viewing platform and an indoor 9 foot dome that houses a Celestron 14" Edge HD telescope on a CGE Pro mount. Coupled with dark skies, it allows us to peer into deep space, providing an unforgettable experience! Bring along your camera/smartphone, attach it to the telescope and snap a picture of the Moon or planets.

Exploring Space (1.5-2 hours)

Start the experience outside beneath the beauty of the Milky Way. Learn the basics of navigating the night sky and experience various constellations and distant galaxies.

Adults (Age 18+) - $35
Youth (Age 10+) - $20
Children (Age 9 and under) - free

Discover the Moon (1.5-2 hours)

Under the beauty of the Moon light you will learn the basics of navigating the night sky using points of reference such as Polaris (North Star), and various constellations. Learn about the planets and how to find them. Discover hidden gems in the night sky using binoculars (provided, or bring your own).

Group Rates - Special discounted rates are available for non-profit, school groups and will be handled on a case by case basis. Please contact us for more details.

Private Experience - If you would like have a private experience. The observatory can be reserved for $100 per person.
