We’re offering a fresh take on a beloved Birchdale tradition, this “Hyper Rustic” evening brings together the beauty of a thoughtfully crafted menu with the warmth, nostalgia, and connection of a rustic family-style meal.

Picture the Main Lodge filled with patterned textures, harvest aromas, heaped plates, great music, and the magic of gathering around the table. It’s a dining experience that honours Birchdale’s history; the simple joy of good food, good company, and the beauty of the forest. And stories!

To bring this vision to life, we’re thrilled to be collaborating with two incredible local artists.

Basin & Bloom Cookery, led by Ayzhia Beaton, is a culinary enterprise rooted in Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley, creating community-centred food experiences through thoughtfully crafted pop-up dinners and local catering.

Alyssa Mood. A beautiful guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, and longtime local performer, lends the perfect blend of warmth and talent to complete the evening.
