Joe H Henry – at Th’YARC
“Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny.” —C.S. Lewis
From humble Métis roots in the Red River Valley, born to a mother who shaped the land and a 7th son of a 7th son award-winning country star father, Joe H Henry seemed to be created with a powerful voice, character, and troubles alike to eventually tell his story through song.
Spending over a decade travelling from town to town with nothing but a backpack, guitar, and his faithful dog; he learned some hard lessons, gained inspiration that was often masked in struggles, and found himself.
These are the stories and songs of his journey from a train-hopping teen to a happily married father of five and promising emerging talent in the East Coast music scene; proving that it is never too late to be what you were meant to be.
